TQ 2981 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER NEW CAVENDISH STREET W1 46/1 (The Ship No. 134 Public House) 5.2.70 (includes 31 Hanson Street) - II Public House. Dated 1887. Red brick and stucco, slate roof. Ornate free Classical style. 4 storeys. 3 windows wide, with 2 window return to Hanson Street. Ground floor pub front has pink granite pilasters framing corner entrance and bar windows with shafted jambs, entablature. Upper floors have architraved and corniced sash windows, the outer ones tripartite and in place of 1st floor central window, a stucco relief panel of ships with date. Cornice and crowning balustrade incorporating 2 chimney stacks.
