Farmhouse. C17 with later extensions. Coursed rubble, concrete tiled roof hipped to left, left stack. L-plan with gable access from north- east end obscured by hipped roof, mid-C19 addition. Main range has 2 storeys and 3 windows to principal north-west elevation: mid-C19 3-light casement under segmental head to left of entrance, to right 3-light c1700 diamond-section mullioned window; first floor has 3-light metal C20 casements to left and right and 2-light wooden C19 casement roughly above 4-light entrance door. Return to left has C19 ledged door leading to segmental headed former gable access door. To left of this access a late C18 - early C19 wing for kitchen and dairy. Late C19 cross-wing to south-west extends from stable (qv) formerly a cider house. Interior: at opposite end of chimney from gable access is local type newel stair with oak treads; segmental headed door with spear-headed strap hinges. To right of entrance on north- west elevation a plank and muntin screen divides the principal room trans- versely and is penetrated by another segmental-headed opening; further to the right behind this screen a longitudinal plank and muntin screen divides the main range into a lobby to the front and small rear room with blocked 5-light diamond section mullioned window. Principal room has chamfered ceiling beams with run-out stops. Flagged stone floors throughout ground floor rooms. Early to mid-C19 cast iron fire basket in hearth to first floor room above principal room.
