TQ 3080 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER NEW ROW, WC2 72/80 (south side) 15.1.73 No 14 (White Swan Public House) G.V. II Terraced public house. Late C.17 or early C.18 origin,refaced and altered mid C.19. Stuccoed with elaborate stucco dressings, vermiculated quoin blocks etc, slate roof. 4 storeys. 3 windows wide. Ground floor has wooden framed public house front with central window and flanking doors flanked by pilasters carrying entablature. Upper floors have segmental arched glazing bar sashes in enriched architraves with keystones, those on 1st floor with enriched consoles flanking swagged friezes and carrying cornices over. These dressings would appear to overlay original openings. Enriched sill bands and plat bands. Parapet with roll moulded coping. Pub interior panelled with some mid to later C.19 engraved glass.
