BURFORD AND UPTON SHEEP STREET AND SIGNET (North side) SP2512 (Enlargement) Bay Tree Hotel annexe 7/191 and cross-wing to rear 12.9.55 courtyard (previously listed as "Bay Tree Annexe fronting street" and "Bay Tree Annexe to rear of Bay Tree Annexe fronting street").

Cottage. C17 or early C18. Rubble with Cotswold stone roof. 2-storeys; 2 wide-spaced windows, 3-light casements with wooden lintels, angled bay to ground-floor right. Small central single-light window. Twin-gabled return with arched C20 doorway. Courtyard to rear. East wing c.1936 with open ground floor; links with cross wing. Cross wing has an early C18 front - possibly a former chapel: freestone, chamfered quoins, central rusticated quoined doorway with cornice, panel over, moulded cornice and shallow pediment in rubble over (presumably C19).
