BURFORD AND UPTON PRIORY LANE AND SIGNET (West end) SP2412-2512 Garden-boundary walls walls 5/183 of The Priory. - GV II
Garden walls. C16 and C17 restored C18 and C20. Rubble with coping and rounded tops mostly 2 to 4m high. The garden is enclosed to South of The Priory in two separate parts linked by pointed arch entry and 2 further plain doors; Tudor arch doorway in N wall. The walls to East and South bound Priory Lane and Sheep Street respectively. Important elements in the character of the town where they act as street boundary walls and important setting for The Priory.
