TQ 2777 NW OAKLEY STREET SW3 62/39 Nos 14 to 25 (consec) GV II

1860s. Symmetrical terrace, stuccoed. Three storeys plus basement. Each two windows wide. Rustication to ground floor. Doors approached by steps. Prominent keystones with masks to segmental doorways and ground floor windows. Iron guards to first floor windows. Stuccoed arch and tympanum to first floor windows. Segmental head and keystone to second floor window. Nos 14, 19, 20, 25 set forward with quoins, portrait relief busts in roundels between first floor windows, bracketted cornice and balustraded parapet. Nos 19 and 20 with prominent dormers. Listed as a complete example of an improper but rich terrace.
