House, 1936, Mendelssohn and Chermayeff. International Modern idiom. Concrete. Two storeys, flat roof: long facade to street, with main block recessed behind single storey wing with continuous strip window and door to right. To right of this two storey block, almost blind, juts forward. Screen wall continues to right of this. Main two storey part has three almost square windows and much larger landing window to right. Metal windows, divided into small rectangular panes by glazing bars. Conservatory not original. Interior not seen.
