Cottage, now garage and store. Early-mid C18 altered to garage mid C20. Hammer- dressed stone, pantile roof with stone slate eaves course. Single-cell, 2 storeys. Quoins. Doorway to left of inserted garage door with concrete lintel. Small rectangular window to 1st floor. Gables carry above roof with stone raking course on kneelers. Gable stack to right has chimney formed by 4 flagstones. Rear: casement window with Yorkshire sash above. Interior: simple stone fireplace and wooden plank stair to 1st-floor room. An interesting survival of a one-up, one-down cottage, now largely swept away or absorbed into later buildings, in the region.
