Detached house. C17. Ham stone ashlar; thatched roof between stepped coped gables; brick chinney stacks. 'Z' plan - 2
storeys with attics, 4-bay roadside elevation. Ovolo-mould mullioned windows throughout: bay 1 is a projecting gable
with oval attic window under hoodmould, and 2 bays of 2-light windows to both levels on return face; bays 2 and 4 have
3-light windows; bay 3 has a 2-light upper window, and below French windows in a recess with ovolo-moulds. On the
north-east elevation, first the gable, then two 3-light windows at each level; all windows are rectangular leaded, with
solid iron framed opening lights, no labels. Interior not seen. About 2 metres east of house a pair of gatepiers,
probably C18; Ham stone ashlar, plain plinths and shafts, plain tops with tall finials feature balls on an almost
Gothic moulded base of unusual detail.
