Farmhouse. Late C17 and mid C18. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston
slate roof. L-shape plan. 2 storeys with attic. Main front of 3-window range
of C20 top hung casements in original openings under stone lintels. Central C20
door under stone lintel. Stone gabled eaves dormer to right has casement window
with glazing bars. Chamfered plinth. Ashlar gable parapets and ashlar stacks
at ends. Rear wing is of different build to main front and has some casement
windows under wood lintels. Outbuilding attached to gable end has plank doors
to ground and first floor. Elevation of rear wing to road has one 2-stage and
one single buttress. Brick and stone stacks to ridge. Interior: kitchen in rear
wing has remains of open fireplace with bressumer. Kitchen and room to right of
entrance have moulded spine beams.
