II

Farmhouse. Late C18 with early C19 extension. Hammer-dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2-cell central lobby-entry plan double depth. 2 storeys, 3-bay house with added bay to left. House: quoins; central doorway with composite jambs and blind window above with plain-stone surround. To either side a very wide 28-pane sash window with plain stone surround and with 21-pane sashes above. Coped gables with kneelers and stacks. Added bay set back to left has 30-pane sash with 24-pane sash above both with projecting sills and lintels cut with false voussoirs. Coped gable to left with stack. Rear: 2 bays of windows, the lintels cut with false voussoirs either side of stairwindow (partly blocked) with composite jambs.

Interior: 2 main rooms of house have large chamfered spine beams with run-out stops. One room has 6-paned door with raised-and-fielded panels. Added kitchen has large fireplace with monolithic jambs and lintel to which is fastened a chimney crane.
