Details

1. CROSTON STREET E8 5013 (North-West Side) ----------------- Nos 1 to 4 (consec) TQ 3483 31/146 16.10.73. II GV 2. 2 early-mid C19 linked pairs, each house 2 storeys and basement, 1 window in main block, one in set back entrance links. Stock brick. Fairly low pitched slated roof has pediment-like gable end to road. Gauged brick arches to replaced sash windows with glazing bars, those on ground floor round headed in round-arched stuccoed recesses. Stucco lined reveals; and Nos 1 and 2 have linking bays stuccoed. 4-panel doors, some flushed, with patterned fanlights. Cast iron area railings.

Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 6 to 15 (consec) form a group with Nos 4 to 18 (even) and 5 to 23 (odd) Dericote Street.
