Farmhouse, now 4 dwellings. Mid C18. Squared coursed limestone with Collyweston
slate roof. Originally probably 4-unit plan with through passage. 2 storeys with
attic. 5-window range of C19 casements under wood lintels, some with stop
chamfers. C19 four-panel part-glazed door to centre also under wood lintel with
C19 gabled hood. Entrance to through passage to left, now gives open access to
rear. 2 C20 roof windows, and brick stacks at ridge and ends. Rear elevation is
similar with 3 C19 and C20 doors and C20 single-storey brick extension to far
right. Interior of No.38 has open fireplace with bressumer, and winder stair.
Probably converted to 4 dwellings C19 by Drayton estate.
