1. NORTHCHURCH ROAD Nl 5013 (North Side) ------------------- Nos 40 to 46 (even) TQ 3284 23/434 TQ 3284 24/434 II GV
2. 2 early-mid C19 pairs, of 2 storeys end basement. Nos 40 and 42, 3 windows (the outer ones in set back entrance bay), Nos 44 and 46, 2 windows. Low pitched hipped slate roof with eaves soffit. Stucco, with ground floor and basement to lst floor band having banded rust+.cat+ons, forming voussoirs to basement windows with rusticated keys. Ionic pilaster-rise from 1st floor band to eaves. 1st floor sash winows, some with bars, mostly in moulded architraves. Ground floor long casements with margin lights have console bracketed cornices and ornamental cast iron balconies. 4-panel doors with console bracketed cornice and pediment. l-bay left extension to No 46.
Nos 40 to 54 (even) form a group with Nos 56 and 58 which are of local interest.
