4/186 Titchmarsh Mill (Middle Nene 01/02/68 Cruising Club) (Formerly listed as Titchmarsh Mill)

Watermill and attached house, now clubhouse. Mid/late C18. Squared coursed limestone and brick, with yellow and red pantile roofs. Rectangular plan. 2 storeys with attic. 3-window range of C19 and C20 casements under wood lintels, with ashlar surrounds. Plank door to left, also under wood lintel, has similar door, above, to first floor, with C20 external iron staircase. Ground floor wall breaks forward and has a chamfered plinth between floors. 2 gabled roof dormers and brick stack at end. One-unit, 2-storey, building attached to left was originally the mill house. Similar with sash window and brick stack at end. Large cast-iron drive wheel attached to right of first floor. Hill race passes under centre of building. Right gable partially rebuilt in brick. Rear elevation is a 4-window range of C20 casements under renewed wood lintels. 3 gabled roof dormers. Interior not inspected.
