Details
TQ 2981 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER POLAND STREET W1 (west side) 57/55 No. 54 23.11.78 II Terrace house. 1704, with early C19 and mid C20 alterations. Dark red brick with light red brick dressings, slate roof. 3 storeys, basement and dormered mansard. 3 windows wide plus half window bay to right. Ground floor stuccoed with renewed panelled architrave and consoled cornice, doorway to left; 2 flat arched recessed windows with C20 glazing to right. Upper floors have recessed sashes, no glazing bars, under flat gauged arches, with blind half windows to right. Plat band over ground floor and parapet with coping. Interior includes panelled passage-hall and pilastered opening to stair compartment with open carved string dog leg stairs and turned balusters with column newels.
