TQ 2580 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER PRINCES SQUARE, W2 63/13 (south side) 13.1.65 Nos 27 and 28 GV II Terraced houses. 1850s. Stucco. Roof not visible. Corner site. 4 storeys, attic and basement. Rusticated quoins. Channelling to ground floor. To west facade: projecting Ionic porches; continuous first floor bombé balcony. Square headed windows to ground and third floors. First floor windows with rounded upper corners, and flanked by Corinthian half columns. Second floor windows segmental headed. Sashes, plate glass. Cornice above third floor with rich acanthus frieze. Arched attic windows, subsidiary cornice. Cast iron area railings. Return to left. Integral part of planned scheme with rest of Princes Square.
