SOUTH HIENDLEY CHURCH LANE SE31SE (west side) Felkirk 4/67 Green monument 12 - metres south of south chapel of Church of St. Peter. GV II
Monumental slab. Early C18. Commemorates 2 children of George and Ann Green of Brierley, Sarah aged 3 and John aged 7, (d. 4th and 17th August 1734). Grooved margin to round-headed panel, with carved spandrels. Each has a separate inscription, in elegant seriffed lettering with raised decorated initial letters "H"; and the addition of George, father, (d.1737) fills the rest of the panel.
