Details
HIGH HAM CP ST43SW HIGH HAM VILLAGE 2/21 Willbourne GV II
Semi-detached house. C15 origins. Local lias stone cut and squared, one half banded in thick and thin courses; double Roman clay tile roof with plain verges; brick chimney stacks, that in centre having massive brick base. Two storeys, 4 bays. Casement windows with horizontal glazing bars - above 2-light except the single-light to bay 2; below 3-light bays 1 and 3 and 2-light bay 4: to bay 2, unaligned with window over, a part-glazed door in deep plain recess framed by open rustic timber porch with pitched tiled roof. Interior not seen, but reported is a six-panel moulded beam and panel ceiling to centre lower room, some wattle and daub partitioning, and jointed cruck roof trusses. Attached to south-west corner an early C20 shop (Spearings) not of special interest. (VAG) Report, SRO Unpublished, Undated).
