In the entry for OKEFORD FITZPAINE ST 8011 LOWER STREET (South side) 14/154 4.9.60 Hill View Farm House GV II The description should be altered to read:
House, mid-late C16 altered in early C17, further altered and refaced C19. Brick (Flemish bond), rubble and brick bonds, render, whitewashed. Thatched roof with gable ends. Brick gable stack left (recently demolished) and near centre (backing on to cross passage). Single storey and attic. Probably of long-house origin. 4 window range. C18 door under curved hood on brackets, probably in original opening into cross-passage. Ground floor has two 4-pane sashes, the left one under a segmental brick. To the right is a 2-light casement with horizontal glazing bars. Above are 3 hipped dormers having C19 sashes with vertical glazing bars. Internally, the hall has a large open fireplace with cambered oak lintel and remains of bread oven. Deeply chamfered intersecting ceiling beams. Head beam between hall and former inner room has mortices for varnished plank and muntin partition. Roof of jointed cruck construction, smoke - blackened with considerable remains of original wattle ceiling.
