Parish Room, formerly Infant School. Dated 1847. Coursed squared granite with
stone dressings and Swithland slate roof with small central louvre. In Tudor
style with hood moulds and shouldered terracotta-coped gables with kneelers.
1 storey of 2 3-light centre-opening casements. Central projecting gable.
Here Tudor arched doorway, the hood mould with head stops. 4-panelled door.
Over this a stone tablet carved with shield inscribed 'L 1847' and earl's coronet
over. In front of building are stone piers and low walls with iron railings
and pair of gates. The railings and gates have spear head finials and there
is an iron arch over the gates.
