Details

STATION ROAD 1. 1633 (East Side) Norton Garth (Formerly listed as Sidmouth Urban District Council Offices) SY 1287 1/31 12.10.51. II GV 2. Late C18/early C19. 3 storeys red brick, the main front at right angles to road. Parapet with stone coping. Gable end slate roof . 4 window symmetrical elevation, the ground floor windows round headed in shallow arched recesses with stone band linking at impost level. Recessed sashes, glazing bars intact. Wide trellis porch with peaked roof, restored. Double doors of 4 panels, 2 round headed end glazed, semi circular radial glazed fanlight. Extensions to rear with modern glazing bar sashes now links Norton Garth to Belgrave Cottage. (The two having been converted into one block of flats).

Norton Garth and Belgrave Cottage form a group.
