Large house in grounds, formerly the Rectory. Late C18 and c 1830. Lias stone walls, plastered. Slate roof with stone gable copings and level kneelers. 2 parallel ridges with gable ends and ridge-cresting. 2 rendered stacks at right hand with moulded cornice. Double-pile plan with front door on right hand end wall. 2 storeys and attics; cellars, 4 windows, wooden sashes with thin glazing bars. 2 C20 dormers with flat roofs and asbestos felt roofing. Front door with 6 flush panels and semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars, c 1800. Wooden porch with pediment over and Tuscan pilaster framing. Cellars beneath, brick barrel-vaults and stone gully surrounds. Interior: elliptical-headed arches in corridors. Large alcove with original shelving, c 1800, in kitchen. Parishioners room by front door. Servants' staircase up from kitchen. Attached former service-range at rear, now cottage. Stone gable coping with ball-finial. Coach House at rear: coursed Lias stone-walls, asbestos slate roof with gable ends. Rectangular plan. One sliding sash. 2 C20 half dormers with glazing bars on north face.
