HAIGH RED ROCK LANE SD 51 SE (north side) 2/62 Nos. 13 to 16 (consec) - Lakeside Cottages G.V. II Terrace of 4 houses. One lintel reads: "WJR 1860". For dye works company. Stucco with pebble-dash and slate roof. 2 storeys, 6 bays. Pebble-dash 1st floor with stucco strips to angles; wide eaves and verges. Windows have chamfered reveals and label moulds, continuous to 1st floor; 3-light horizontally sliding sashes; 1st and 6th bays have casements. Entrances have label moulds, those to Nos. 13 and 16 to returns. 3 cross-axial stacks. An interesting example of early workers' housing.
