2 houses in row. Early C18. Squared coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched C20 tile roof. Brick ridge and end stacks. 2-unit plan each. 2 storeys. Goviers Cottage. Approximately central entrance has 4-panelled door and continuous wood lintel with 2-light wood casement to right. 2-light wood casement to left with wood lintel. First floor has a 2-light and a 3-light metal casement in wood frames. Lead cames, wrought-iron casement fasteners and springs. Chamfered wood lintels. Rectangular, tiled bread oven projection to right of door. Interior. Inglenook fireplace with chamfered bressumer and bread oven with fireplace with chamfered bressumer and bread oven with cast-iron door. Chamfered beam. Plank doors with strap hinges. Wooden winder staircase. Dyndors on right. Entrance off-centre to left has plank door and wood lintel. Ground floor has 2 C20 windows with chamfered wood lintels. First floor has 3 false dormers with C20 windows. Interior not inspected.
