GV II

Public house now house. C17 with later alterations. Squared, coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched C20-tile roof with stone-coped gables and moulded kneelers. Renewed brick C20 stacks. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Situated gable on to road. 2-window elevation on side. Elevation facing Thorpe Road has 2 C20 ground floor windows. Blocked first floor window. Attic has 2-light casement window with wood lintel. Side elevation on right. Entrance off-centre to left. Panelled/glazed door with wood lintel. 4-light metal casement window in wood frame and wood lintel to right. First floor has a 2- and a 3-light metal casement in wood frames. Wood lintels. Small rectagular stone framed window on right. Ironstone quoins. Interior said to have inglenook fireplace, beams and original staircase. Once part of the Wheatsheaf Public House.
