GV II

Farmhouse. C17 with later alterations. Squared coursed ironstone. Steeply pitched slate roofs. Stone ridge and end stacks some with twin shafts. L plan with M shaped roof on left to double gabled wing. 2 storeys plus attic. 4-window range. Entrance in angle to left has C20 trellis porch and hood. 3-light wood casement in left return. Wood lintel. Small window on right with wood lintel. Blocked opening on right has wood lintel. First floor has single-, 2- or 3-light wood casements with wood lintel. 2 gabled roof dormers. Ironstone quoins. C19 bay windows to rear. Interior not inspected. (VCH: Oxfordshire: Vol X, p211)
