G.V. II

House. Late C17 with added kitchen wing mid C18 to rear. Large dressed stone, stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 'T' shaped plan. 3-room front. All are double chamfered mullioned windows to ground floor, chamfered mullioned windows to lst floor. All lack some mullions. 4-light window with same over, 6-light housebody window with 4-light window over. Doorway with straight lintel, composite jambs and chamfered surround has single light with projecting surround over. 5-light window with 4-light window over. Stack to each gable and one other forming hearth passage plan. Stone gutter brackets. Added rear wing in hammer-dressed stone, ashlar quoins. 2 storeys. 2 rooms deep has coped gable with kneelers. East face has 4-light chamfered mullioned window to ground floor next to leanto over which is 4-light flat faced mullioned window. West face has double chamfered mullioned window of 4 lights (lacking 2 mullions) with 4-light flat faced mullioned window over. To left is 1st floor taking-in door (blocked). 2 stacks to this range. Interior reveals through passage plan. Stop chamfered reeded spine beams. Rear kitchen has beehive oven and 4 hearths under long moulded shelf.
