Detached house. Mid C18, with some later modifications. Red brick in Flemish bond;
slate gable-end roof. Double-depth with stairs to rear of central entrance hall
(services to rear). Two storeys. Front: 2-window range; Yorkshire sashes (some
glazing bars removed) to all windows, those to ground floor under segmental brick
arches. Central doorway (porch removed) with pegged surround and half glazed and
panelled door. Rear fenestration modified; glazed porch. Interior: ceiling beams
and joists to ground floor rooms; to all rooms (except one) original planked doors
in pegged surrounds; good dog-leg stair with splat balusters complete (to landing
also), square-section newels and moulded string.
