Early C19 coaching inn. Local brown brick; red tile roof, shallow parapet gables with tall end stacks. Three storeys and basement with side passage to east. One dormer window with flat roof. Three second floor, recessed, casement windows with stone cills in cambered gauged red brick arches. Three first floor, and two ground floor, four-paned hung sash windows in similar arches to second floor. Plain wooden doorcase, rectangular fan- light. Watson's History of Wisbech, 1827. A.A.
