Parish Church. 1842 by G. and H. Osborn. Flint and rubble-stone walls, rendered. Slate roof with stone gable-copings and moulded kneelers. Stone bellcote on west gable with steeply pitched roof and bell in situ. Nave and chancel in one. Polygonal sanctuary. One storey. 3 bays. Nave has right-angle buttresses at corners with 2 pairs of set offs and plinth moulding. One lancet to each bay. Labels with foliage stops. Lozenge-leaded lights. Sanctuary has 3 stepped lancets, label over with foliage stops. Porch at west end, gabled and with diagonal buttresses. Pointed-arch entrance. Label with carved stops. Two-leaf plank and muntin door. Two-light lancet over porch. Tympanum built into west wall, c.llOO, two confronting wyverns with inscriptions MAHALD DE LEGELE and ALVI ME FECI.

Interior: chancel-arch, pointed arch with responds and hollow chamfer between. Roof, C19 queen-post construction with diagonal strutting. Piscina with ogee trefoil head, Cl2 scallop capital re-used as piscina drain. Font, stone, circular bowl, short round stem and square base, C13. Wooden font cover with knop. (RCHM Dorset I, p.269(2)).
