SANDWELL MB WALSALL CANAL, GOLDS HILL SO 99 SE 4/160 Footbridge to south of junction with Tame Valley Canal, east of Bayleys Lane
GV II
Footbridge over Walsall Canal (opened 1786) near its junction with the Tame Valley Canal (opened 1844). Mid-C19. Cast iron with brick abutments which have some sandstone copings. Single shallow segmental arch. Sides pierced to form lattice pattern of saltire crosses.
