POUND STREET 1. 1357 (South Side) Hotel Buena Vista SY 3392 3/192 II GV 2. Early C19. 3 storeys. East facing front of 6 window bays. Slate roof; overhanging eaves. Stuccoed front. Sash windows with glazing bars in reveals on 2nd floor. On 1st floor, C19 casements behind a verandah with coved canopy supported on fluted metal columns; wrought iron balcony to 1st floor. Ground floor juts forward; moulded entablature; from left to right hand end, French casement, entrance marked by pilasters with door in deep recession behind, large late C19 French casement occupying width of 2 window bays, and at right hand end, 2 French casements. 2-storey, 2-bay addition at right hand end. At left hand end, modern, south-facing addition.
The Lawn, Hotel Buena Vista and the north boundary walls, Tivoli Cottage, Nos l4 & l5 and Belmont form a group.
