5/67 Golborne Bridge and parapet walls 40m to south (that part in Golborne David C.P.)
GV II
Bridge over Golborne Brook: probably late C18. Ashlar red sandstone stream passes under chamfered semi-circular arch on low piers having a raised keyblock. To north and separated by a cutwater is a smaller similar arch for flood water. Raised band at road level and a long revetment wall to south. Plain parapet above all this with rounded coping. At the point where the ramp starts is inscription JF 1909 on east side.
Part of this bridge is in Handley parish.
