of Tattenhall Hall.

Haybarn: 1858 by James Harrison for Robert Barbour later C20
alterations. Orange brick, partly Welsh slate roof, partly corrugated
asbestos roof. Long rectangular plan with l-bay central projection to
the south. Has continuous arcade of 7 semi-circular headed arches on
both long sides and a single arch in the gables and the sides of the
projection. Main cart entrance has restored lintel and some archways
now blocked.
The best and least altered of a group of farmbuildings of a model
farm, built at the cost of £1,600. Similar but smaller haybarns occur
at many other farms on the estate.
