HIGH STREET 1. 5231 (East Street) Fareham No 51 (Lysses) SU 5806 SW 1/26 18.10.55. II GV 2. Early C19. Faced with painted Roman cement. Cornice and parapet. 2 storeys. 4 windows, sashes with glazing bars, these on ground floor have cornices above. Porch with coupled Doric pilasters and Ionic columns on each side. Doorway has rectangular fanlight. North and south extensions of 1 1/2 storeys each. Northern extension of 2 bays with door and 2 dormers. Southern extension of 3 bays with carriage entrance to rear. All the listed buildings on High Street and Union Street, with the listed street lamps form a group, together with Nos 1 and 2 and the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul, Church Place and with the Red Lion Hotel and No 10 East Street.(No 45, High Street is of local interest.
