Outbuilding, formerly house. Circa 1600. Slatestone rubble, some cob on rear wall, corrugated iron gabled roof, stone lateral stack with truncated shaft of local brick and gable end chimneys of brick. Cross passage, formerly through passage plan; hall to right of passage, smaller service room to left. C20 leanto with galvanised iron roof adjoins front wall. Door to left of front lateral stack has 6 panels, sunk above middle rail, flush below. Window to left of door pair 8- pane timber sashes. Further entrance to right of stack. First floor windows: three 2-light casements, one 6 panes per light, others 2 and 8 panes per light. Remains of plank and muntin screen to left of passage morticed foudoorhead to service room at far end. Hall has large cross beam with pyramid stops. Boxed in later stair at end. 3 pairs of raised crucks, with cambered collars mortised into blades and 2 tiers of threaded purlins and diagonal set ridge. First floor room right rear has partly blocked original timber mullioned window with 2 round-headed lights and deep chamfers on the outside head and jambs.
