House, C16 and later. Timber framed and pebble dashed with
concrete pantiled roofs. Of 2 storeys with long rear range, four
parallel gabled blocks to east and hipped roofed late C18
extension on south end. The east elevation has 2 small paned
double hung sash windows on each floor of south wing and similar
windows under each gable of the wings. The ground floor of this
elevation has a canted bay window, small double hung sash,
tripartite double hung sash with central, vertical glazing bar
and entrance door. The rear range, which has been truncated, at
an angle, on its west side has a C16 soot blackened crown post
roof and spine beams/bridging joists exposed within. The south
wing has panelled room on ground floor, early C19 detail in room
over and split balustered staircase. Possibly old mill house.
