II

Farmhouse, late C16. 1 1/2 storeys and attics; 3-cell lobby entrance plan. Timber-framed and rendered in raised panels. Thatched roof with slated gabled dormers; axial chimney of red brick. C20 casements and boarded entrance door. Back-to-back open fireplaces to parlour and hall. Clasped-purlin roof. An exposed unglazed mullioned window and evidence for others. Swell-head posts at parlour end have a carved motif employing linked circles. A further attic floor probably inserted early C17.
