STANHOPE BACK LANE (South side) NY 9939 Stanhope 34/151 Churchyard walls and hearse house to north of Church of St. Thomas GV II
Walls and hearse house. Early C19. Roughly-coursed sandstone rubble; stone- flagged roof. Eastern wall about 2 metres high, with gabled coping, runs along north of churchyard and joins north wall of hearse house, a single-storey building blank but for boarded carriage doors in round-arched opening on west face. Set-back western wall, about 3 metres high with flat coping, joins south- west corner of hearse house and continues along north side of churchyard.
