GV II
Corn barn: late C18, adapted C19 partly into shippon. Rubble sandstone plinth, Flemish bond, hand-made, purple-red brick walls, asbestos roof, stone ridge and stone-coped gables. 2-storey, asymmetrical 4-bay front. Entrance under wooden lintel. 4 lines of ventilation slots, some blocked. Elliptical, bullnosed brick pitch holes in gables. Some rectangular C19 openings under stone lintels, record change of use. 3 massive queen-post roof trusses and some unsawn purlins. 2 short, contemporary wings at right angles to rear.
