House, now in 2 occupations, 1727. Hammer dressed stone, stone slate roof. Stacks on ridge and right gable. 2 storeys. Quoins, gable copings and kneelers. Front to road is of 3 bays, the first with modern doorway to No 15 next to modern forebuilding. Over is 2-light flat faced mullioned window. 2nd 'bay has a 3-light similar window to each floor, but those to 3rd bay, although now lacking mullions to first floor, have double chamfered surrounds and were of 3 lights. Each gable end has one 3-light chamfered mullioned window (that to No 17 blocked) on first floor. The gable wall of No 17 is set back to left. Rear preserves double chamfered mullioned windows of 8 lights (with king mullion) and 6 lights over; of 4 lights with a chamfered mullioned window of 4 lights aver; and a smaller chamfered mullioned window of 3 lights. Loose in the yard is the lintel from the porch formerly on the gable end of No 17, inscribed "ERG 1727" (for Elkanah Hoyle).
