23/310 Barrack Farmhouse II Linear farm: house and barn. Late C18. Thinly-rendered sandstone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings; roof of stone flags over house, concrete tiles over barn; yellow brick chimneys. 2 storeys; 4-bay barn and stable, 2-bay house. Flat stone lintels to boarded Dutch door in second bay and house door in fifth bay. Similar lintels and projecting stone sills to central boarded loft door on first floor, to 2 ground-floor windows with lower glazing bars and to first-floor barn window. House has one ground-floor and 2 first-floor sashes with glazing bars of late C19 type, flat stone sills and lintels. Blocked hearth-entry door at right of barn. Circa 1900 porch added to house. Return gables show reverse crow steps. 2 ridge chimneys at ends of house.
