2/112 Bank Hall Farmhouse _ _ II
House, was dated 1612 on door lintel now replaced by new lintel (information supplied by present owner), with mid C18 alterations and additions. Hammer dressed stone (rendered), stone slate roof. 2 storeys. 3-room, hearth-passage plan. Double pile. 4-light chamfered mullioned window to left of inserted C19 cottage doorway; doorway with monolithic jambs; chamfered mullioned windows of 2 lights (fire-window), 5 lights (to housebody) and 4 lights (to parlour). 1st floor has chamfered mullioned windows of 4 lights either side of central 6-light window. Quoins. Rear of double pile, which is under 2-span roof, has 2 C17 cells and 2 C18 cells. Plinth, 2 double chamfered mullioned windows of 4 lights and 8 lights (with king mullion) under single hoodmould with-decorated label stops. Added cell has long chamfered mullioned window with wide window of 8 lights. 1st floor has 3 flat faced mullioned windows of 6 lights. Right hand return wall has doorway with monolithic jambs to rear range and 2-light chamfered mullioned window to each gable. 3 stacks to front range, one central. Stack to rear range.
