House. Early C17 with C18 additions, altered and further extended mid C19. Timber-framing and red brick with fragments of a stone plinth beneath a plain-tiled roof with two brick ridge stacks and decorative C19 bargeboards to gables. 'L' plan house with two bay C17 range and C18 crosswing.

North elevation; two storeys with attics, three bays with advanced gable to east, and added gabled single storey porch to centre. Square framing to gable above head of ground floor sash window opening, presently boarded up. Diagonal down bracing from jowled corner posts. Dummy painted sash to first floor, six pane casement to attic. Cusped serpentine barge boards to gable. To the west, stepped two bay brick range of two C18 phases, with C19 gabled porch to east bay, with segmental arch to door opening, enclosing similar doorway. Stacked sash windows beneath segmental heads to west, ground floor eight over eight panes, first floor three over three panes. Three over three pane first floor sash to west bay.

West elevation; two storeys, two bays, square framing to first floor incorporating two four-light timber ovolo-moulded mullion windows, that to the north with leaded lights, that to the south with metal casement.

Interior; plan form largely undisturbed, with central hearth, spine beam, window shutters and winder stair to attics.
