GV II
Integral school and headmaster's house dated 1867. Hammer dressed stone, ashlar dressings, slate roof. Simply treated Gothic Revival village school. Central open-hall has flanking wings to either end with gabled porches with pointed arched doorways, coped gables. Gables of wings have pointed arched windows with tracery, others, to hall range, are of 3 arched lights. South wing is headmaster's house. l½ storeys. Pointed arched doorway has door with decorative ironwork with mullioned and transomed windows to either side. Gabled dormers have cross-windows. 2 stacks to ridge. East gable bears date plaque. One other stack to hall.
