5/33 Hubbert's Bridge Farmhouse 5/60 G.V. II

House. c.1750-1770, altered early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond with tuck pointing, painted ashlar dressings. Welsh slate roof with stone coped gables and 2 gable stacks. L-plan. 3 storey, 5 bay front arranged 2:1:2, the centre bay slightly advanced and separately gabled. Plinth, first floor band, modillion wooden cornice. Central 4 panel door with overlight, panelled reveals, early C19 pilastered doorcase with open pediment, flanked by pairs of lengthened tall glazing bar sashes; to first floor 5 glazing bar sashes and to second floor 5 smaller similar windows. All windows have segmental heads and stepped keyblocks. To the rear, a 2 storey service wing. Interior has an early C19 single flight swept stair up 3 storeys with stick balusters, carved open string and circular newel. Early C19 joinery to ground floor, with plain pilasters to through room opening. First floor principal rooms retain C18 shutters, window seats, 6 panel fireplace cupboard doors and overpanels and in one room an eared fireplace surround. Second floor has C18 small eared fireplace surround
