House. Mid C16. Timber framed and clad with red brick and tile hung on first floor, with ragstone to return elevations. Plain tiled roof. Four framed bays with cross-passage. Two storeys with hipped roof, with stacks to left and at end left. Two glazing bar sashes and wooden casements to centre and to right on first floor. Glazing bar sash to left and central wooden casement on ground floor with boarded door to right. Catslide outshot to rear. Interior: originally jettied on 3 sides, with moulded ceiling beams and moulded chimney bressumer with foliate spandrels, as in four centred arches through passage doorway spandrels to service rooms. Dog leg stair with panelled balustrade and poppyhead newels. Crown post roof to originally unheated upper hall, ceiled in C17.
