approx. 20 metres to north-east
of farmhouse

Barn. c1700, altered. Timber-framed with red brick infill: corrugated
iron roof. Tall single storey now with inserted floor; 3 bays.
Orientated east-west. Square-panelling with wall posts intact;
diagonal braces. South side: framing of bay 1 is virtually intact;
central bay now all brickwork with boarded door beneath segmental
arch; bay 3 has incomplete panelling obscured by adjoining building.
Rear: square-panelling to bay 3, otherwise brickwork of various dates.
East gable: virtually complete framing with boarded hatch doors below
tie beam of principal-rafter truss having queen posts below a collar
and V-struts above. West gable: similar to east but with no framing
below tie beam except for the jambs of a boarded hatch. Interior :
braces from the wall posts to original principal-rafter trusses;
diagonal struts; original purlins but no original rafters.
