SE 01 NE HEY LANE (Off) Scammonden 2/155 Heycroft Farm -

2 houses in one range (SW part in agricultural use). C17 with 2 early C18 gabled wings to north west. Coursed rubble. Quoins. Stone slate roof with gable copings (chamfered) which turn onto carved footstones to north west. One fine ashlar stack with moulded string courses. 2 storeys. NE part: SE elevation: 3 bays, with later central doorway. Bay to right of 5-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows (each with outer 2 mullions removed). To left, ground floor, are one 2-light and one 5-light double chamfered and recessed stone mullioned windows (the latter with 2 mullions removed and altered sill). To left, 1st floor, are one 2-light and one 4-light chamfered stone mullioned windows (various mullions removed). North west elevation: 2 gabled wings. Wings to left, single bay with one 3-light stone mullioned window to each floor. Wing to right, 2 bays of double chamfered and recessed stone mullioned windows, 4-light to right (each with 2 outer mullions removed), and 2-light (ground floor) and 3-light (lst floor) to left. Single storey lean-to extension to right with entrance with quoins and drop lintel, and with small chamfered single light above. SW part: SE elevation: Ground floor: one 6-light double chamfered and recessed stone mullioned window with 3 mullions removed. Altered 4-light window to left. Later doorway to right with small chamfered light over. 1st floor: one 3-light and one 5-light stone mullioned window (various mullions removed).
